Hawkgirl Helmet Justice Lords by CraftyWingy Hawkgirl Helmet Justice Lords by CraftyWingy
I really liked the idea of being able to dress as more than one version of Hawkgirl, so I used a children's knight helm and a bunch of plastic bits to make a second helmet for the Justice Lords version. The rest of the outfit is pretty straightforward and I just need to finish the wrist and leg bands.

It's very similar to the Thanagarian war helms in terms of the design... just a few differences.

The seams are an issue (some day I will think of a way to cover them and repaint this) and the back seems to bell out a little too much, but it looks fine when it is worn.

(the model head is a tiny bit smaller than a real head)

This is amazing! I really want to do a justice lords Hawkgirl, and this is so inspiring! Any tips? And what material did you use? (I saw you mention plastic, but did you just buy bits of plastic, and if so... the styling!)

You did a great job! I made up a hawkboy character! His helmet looks similar to this!

They have upgraded Hawkman (and Hawkgirl) and Aquaman to make less Superfriends useless (more or less they gave definition to their powers)

In the comics those three were never useless. Aquaman was always super strong superfast and had night vision along with the aquatic telepathy. Filmation added the water bending to his powers because at the time woman weren't really allowed to do squat. Superfriends removed everything but aquatic telepath, super speed in the second season. The Hawks have always been archeologists who make tech that looks archaic/use archaic weapons. Violence was forbidden in animation so problems had to be solved by wits. No one ever threw a punch or hit anyone. That's why those three became relegated to single powers.

this is good, but I gotta tell you, Hawkgirl and Aquaman are STILL the most useless of all superheroes. Oh, except for those two that can turn into a form of water and any animal.

"Form of... a ramp of ice!"
"Shape of... a seal!"

I agree, mostly. The JLA series did try to make them both a little more powerful. I think the aggression also helped make Hawkgirl less useless and more valkyrie-like.

Yeah, but I think my favorite version of Aquaman so far is the Batman Brave and Bold one... a stupid, valiant meathead. Also, I think there is no superhero better than Supergoth.

So who the hell were those stupid transforming twins? I forget.

Ah, The Wonder Twins. They've been parodied so many times. LOL.
